We had a great experience with Maryland Carpet & Tile. We had our kitchen, hallway, and bathroom floors done and we had new carpet installed in our basement. The installers were wonderful. They were very considerate. They moved all the furniture, took out the toilet and vanity. They removed and replaced baseboards and transition strips,. They have extensive knowledge about flooring and we are very grateful we hired them to do our projects. They spent loads of time with us trying to help us pick out what ultimately looks great.

Maryland Carpet and Tile just completed their 4th job for us over the past 3 years in both our former and current homes – we’ve had them install carpet, tile floors and hardwood floors and each job has been superb in every way. The entire leadership team, including Ali, Sophia and the current owner, Michael, have been unfailingly available, friendly and customer-focused, making sure to understand our needs and preferences and eagerly assisting us in selecting the right product from their enormous selection. They have worked diligently to accommodate our schedule and special requirements, they have ALWAYS done the work on time, and above all, the craftsmanship and attention to detail have always been exceptional. We are certainly not their biggest customer, but they have treated us as if we were! For their most recent job, replacing the tile kitchen floor that had been defectively installed by another contractor in our new home before we purchased it, Maryland Carpet and Tile went above and beyond even their previous outstanding work. They agreed to do the job on a tight schedule while we were on vacation and when they encountered an unexpected issue with a rotting section of the sub-floor, they were able to make the necessary repairs and keep us fully informed with texts and pictures from Michael, and still complete the work on time. We felt completely confident in the outcome while we were away, and sure enough, when we got home, the new floor was ready to use and looks absolutely fabulous! We are eternally grateful to Michael and his crew for their superior personal and professional service - we can’t recommend Maryland Carpet and Tile highly enough!

Five stars, for sure. We were so pleased with all the work done by Maryland Carpet and Tile. They came highly recommended to us and we were not at all sorry for choosing them to do the work on our bathroom. They will give you an incredibly fair price compared to other contractors and yet they did not cut any corners at all. The quality of their work was superb, and if there was ever something that needed attention, they took care of it until we were happy -- even small things like when we said the faucet handles weren't perfectly straight. We had them swap out the bathroom fan twice because we weren't completely happy with it. They NEVER complained or showed impatience. We are so, so, so pleased with how our little bathroom came out. We had a small 50's era bathroom, still with the original blue tile and blue bathtub. It was badly in need of an update! Take a look at the before and after photos below. It should be obvious which are which :-). As other reviews have mentioned, I must say that working with Michael, the owner, was a true pleasure. He is a local guy and a family man. We never felt pressured when we were still in the decision-making process. Even before we ever signed a contract, he spent hours with us talking about our different choices, including staying past their showroom closing time to talk with him. He never showed irritation even though I feel like most people would have. If anything, Michael pressured us to take our time! He wasn't looking for a quick deal and always wanted to make sure we were happy. I can't tell you the number of emails, phone calls, visits, and texts I had with Michael. He bent over backwards to help us and make this project happen. Thank you, Michael! We also used MC&T about 12 years ago when we moved in and needed carpet and laminate flooring. We have never had a problem with this company and we would definitely do business with them again.
