Vinyl flooring is available in large sheets or pre-cut tiles; the former is resilient. Some come with a pre-applied adhesive for peel-and-stick installation, others require adhesive to be spread on to the substrate

Luxury Vinyl Planks

LVP is luxury vinyl flooring that looks like wood planks in everything from color to species. Surface textures often include the look of scraping or embossing, which dramatically heighten the realism. Also like wood, planks may be installed in sophisticated ways—in brick fashion, diagonally, and so on. The result? Stunning.

Resilient flooring, whether LVT, LVP, or sheet vinyl is known for its warmth and comfort underfoot. It's extremely high performance and surprisingly beautiful. You can put it anywhere, even in places where moisture could be a problem for toher types of flooring.

Luxury Vinyl Tile

Vinyl composition tile VCT is a finished flooring material used primarily in commercial and institutional applications. Modern vinyl floor tiles and sheet flooring and versions of those products sold since the early 1980s are composed of colored PVC chips formed into solid sheets of varying thicknesses, 1/8" is most common, by heat and pressure. Floor tiles are cut into modular shapes such 12x12 inch squares or 12x24 inche rectangles. In installation the floor tiles or sheet flooring are applied to a smooth, leveled sub-floor using a specially formulated vinyl adhesive or tile mastic that remains pliable. In commercial applications some tiles are typically waxed and buffed using special materials and equipment.

Modern vinyl floor tile is frequently chosen for high-traffic areas because of its low cost, durability, and ease of maintenance. Vinyl tiles have high resilience to abrasion and impact damage and can be repeatedly refinished with chemical strippers and mechanical buffing equipment. If properly installed, tiles can be easily removed and replaced when damaged. Tiles are available in a variety of colors from several major flooring manufacturers. Some manufacturers have created vinyl tiles that very closely resemble wood, stone, terrazzo, and concrete and hundreds of varying patterns.

Vinyl Sheet

Vinyl sheet flooring is usually made with skeuomorphic patterns that imitate wood, stone, or tile. The texture of these materials is imitated using embossing and specific top coats; the appearance is duplicated using a print layer. Recent improvements in printing technology have made for higher-resolution images.

A minority of sheet vinyl is printed with none-skeumorphic designs; these may be drawn images resembling carpet patterns, or be photographic images such as rippled water, sand, or nebula images.

Printable sheet vinyl flooring is now also available; it can be custom-printed by the manufacturer with any image file. This allows customization of the pattern to the dimensions of the room, and can include cutting lines for easy installation.
